Professional Experience:

  • Worked in Silicon Valley High-Tech Industry from 1997-2003 (Strategic planning, Inside software sales and customer service; Employers included: Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), VERITAS Software (merged with Symantec) and Netflix).
  • Sold real estate between 2004 and 2007 (Employing brokers included Intero Real Estate Services – Cupertino and Guarantee Real Estate – Fresno).
    • Sold Single Family Homes and Condominiums in Silicon Valley.
    • Sold Single Family Homes in Fresno / Clovis.
  • Managed my family’s 650 cow dairy and 640 acre farm in Tulare, and worked as a consultant for their then start-up electrical connector manufacturing (EZConnector.com) in 2007- 2008.
  • Worked as an Agribusiness Consultant for Wells Fargo Bank’s Agricultural Industries Department and Commercial Banking – National Food and Agribusiness Group from 2008-2015.
    • Achieved Vice President Title after just 3 years in the role.
    • Duties included: Dairy cattle and dairy feed commodity inventory appraisal and verification. Budget preparation/analysis, strategic analysis, and other activities in support of underwriting operating loans for large dairies and other food and agribusiness companies located in CA, OR, WA, AZ, NV, ID, and WI.
    • Total loan portfolio monitored was over $500 million, with most loans ranging from $10 million to $20 million (Average loan was $16 million).
    • Other duties included tracking of various agricultural commodity markets, developing budgeting and price analysis tools in MS Excel and Visual Basic, and writing articles for Wells Fargo’s National Food and Agribusiness “Food For Thought” newsletter.
